Psychological Characteristics of the Suspect or Defendant in the Period of Criminal Investigation
Abstract
With the objective of making a significant contribution to establishing the truth in a criminal case, forensic activities within criminal proceedings may involve confrontations between the judicial authorities tasked with investigating the offence and the individual suspected of violating the criminal law. These confrontations take place on a psychological level and can directly influence the outcome of the truth-seeking process in criminal proceedings.
