Pros and Cons in the Use of Devices in the Current School
Abstract
At present, modern society is unthinkable without the latest digital technologies and the Internet, which permeate all spheres of our lives, including education. We have the possibility to receive large amounts of information, news, to have access to various audio and video resources and to communicate in social networks. Access to the Internet allows virtual contact with people anywhere in the world, ensures the diversification of forms of learning organization, etc. The large-scale use of electronic devices and social networks for the purpose of communicating with others has also produced negative effects that specialists cannot ignore. In these parameters, there is currently a fierce dispute between pros and cons regarding the negative effects, in the short and medium term, of the penetration of devices into the current school life.
