The paper examines how the use of social networks, online platforms, and digital tools has transformed the relationship between politicians and citizens. It analyzes how instant access to information and social networks have influenced decision-making processes and public opinion, providing new opportunities for civic engagement and electoral mobilization. Additionally, the paper explores the challenges and dilemmas associated with the use of digital technologies in political communication, including the risks of misinformation and online manipulation. It discusses how politicians and political organizations are adapting their strategies to address these challenges and to maintain public trust and engagement.
