The Dynamics of Terror and the History of Its Use in Contemporary International Relations
Abstract
The 21st century was a period full of exacerbation of international relationsafter a period of political quasi-stability in post-war international relations. Thesocial, economic, military and political interests of the various international stateactors have fully contributed to the establishment of a new balance of power incontemporary international relations based on the establishment of a new dangergiven by the spread in the world of the terrorist threat in general and of cyberterrorism, in special. Due to the advent of the digital age, progress andinformation technology are making their place more and more powerful ineveryday relationships and with it certain vulnerabilities of the virtual environmentcan appear that can quickly turn into opportunities for the various criminal groupsthat try to move their range of action in the online environment.
