Abstract

Viticulture and winemaking are crucial sectors in Azerbaijan's agro-industrial complex, holding significant potential for growth. However, they face challenges such as adverse natural phenomena impacting grape production and the proliferation of counterfeit wine products. This not only confuses consumers but also poses risks to public health and safety, eroding trust in the industry.

To address these challenges, it is essential to enhance analytical and expert identification capabilities to ensure the reliability and objectivity of wine product assessments. This involves developing new techniques, including analytical and expert methods, to study the component composition of wine products comprehensively. By evaluating specific properties that remain unchanged throughout the production chain, based on modern scientific knowledge, we can establish a robust quality assessment system.

This system will enable effective control over compliance with laws and regulations, facilitating identification and prevention of inaccurate information regarding product type, name, and origin. To ensure objectivity and reliability, it is crucial to gather scientifically validated data on qualitative and quantitative changes in analyzed indicators.

In conclusion, the development and implementation of a quality assessment system for wine products are critical for supporting production, circulation, and import substitution in compliance with the law. By leveraging fundamental scientific knowledge and modern research tools, we can address risks and dangers in the industry, ensuring consumer confidence and fostering sustainable growth.
