Demographics of Companies - an Effect of Entrepreneurial Success, or a Failure?
Abstract
The creating and closing of enterprises - seemingly common actions, in fact they essentially highlight the health of the entire entrepreneurial system of a country. Analyzing the dynamics of businesses from the perspective of the events that lead either to their establishment, or closure – it is a valuable resource for identifying future trends in the business environment. The article aims to provide a balanced perspective of the relationship between demographics of companies and entrepreneurial success, highlighting the importance of a contextual approach and an exhaustive analysis of the internal and external factors that influence the evolution of a business. This study explores how factors such as a company's lifespan, size, industry, and financial performance affect company demographics, by using empirical data and statistical analysis. Thus, the article aims to demonstrate that entrepreneurial success and failure impact the survival rate of businesses, as well as their birth rate. In addition, the study provides valuable insights for entrepreneurs, investors and decision makers in managing and promoting sustainable economic development and business innovation.
