Keywords:
pandemic crises impact; management; appropriate measuresAbstract
This paper aims to investigate how the main international organizations, mainly the European Union, reacted to the start of the crisis generated by the COVID-19 pandemic. It started with a chronology of events as soon as the crisis was known, and then the actions taken by the bodies of the European Union were presented. The methodology used to achieve the purpose of the study is descriptive research and the existing literature on the subject. How the different governments managed the pandemic and the measures taken to complement the financial support received from the European Union influenced the economic, political, and health outcomes of the affected countries and the population's well-being.
