The Role of the Financial System
Abstract
The financial system is an essential component of our economy. It represents a set of institutions that facilitate the circulation of financial instruments on the financial markets. In other words, the financial system mediates money flow from those who accumulate savings (creditors) to those who make expenses (debtors) to realize projects. For this, they are ready to pay a specific price. Certain institutions such as banks, non-bank lending organizations, savings and loan associations and other specialized entities facilitate the circulation of money.
