Family abandonment
Abstract
In this paper, we have carried out a brief examination of the crime of family abandonment, a crime which in judicial practice has determined some different opinions. We had in mind the examination of the pre-existing conditions and the constitutive content of this crime, through the lens of the judicial practice promoted in the matter. We also considered a brief comparative examination of the legal contents of the offense provided for in the current and previous law. Last but not least, we have also highlighted the two decisions promoted at the level of the supreme court with direct effects in judicial practice. The work can be useful to practitioners in the field of criminal law, as well as students and master's students of specialized faculties in the country. This paper is part of the criminal law course to be published this year at a prestigious publishing house in the country.
